How long does a mint thread lift last?
They last 6-9 months.
Is mint thread lift painful
During the procedure, you receive local anaesthesia. Some pain and discomfort may still be felt.
Post-procedure there will be pain and tenderness.
Regular analgesia would be required for 2-3 days.
Ice packs to the face help.
Post-procedure to maintain the best results
Avoid making any extreme facial expressions
Cut foods like meat and an apple up small so that you don’t have to open your mouth wide
For 2-3 days soft foods such as yoghurts and smoothies are best.
A face support should be worn for added support.
Avoid strenuous exercise, weight training etc for 2 weeks.
No Saunas for 2 weeks.
Downtime post thread lift
Downtime varies from patient to patient. We do suggest a week off to recover and allow your face to heal. Recovery and downtime depend on the area being treated and the amount of threads used in treatment.
Some people are able to go back to work straight away and others like to rest up for a week or two.
