What are the side effects?
- Serious side effects are not common. The most common side effects after initial treatment are swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching and lumps.
- Small lumps under the skin that are sometimes noticeable when pressing on the treated area.
- Larger lumps with some delayed onset with or without inflammation or skin discolouration has occasionally been reported.
Aftercare
- Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days after your treatment, according to your cosmetic practitioner’s advice.
- Can apply ice pack to the treated area
- No makeup for 24 hours
- Avoid saunas, excessive sun exposure
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
